Disney is in the game…

I agree with Let’s Talk Porn on the subject of sexual innuendoes in movies.  Disney is supposed to be promoting movies that can be viewed by children, but have been accused of including things that are not appropriate for children.  An example is in The Lion King, when Simba is lying in the field under the sky the dandelions float up into the sky and spell the word sex. 

 
This may have been unintentional (which I doubt), but should definitely have been caught in a pre-screening of the film.  There should be no doubt that this is an accident since there have been other accusations against other Disney films.  In the movie The Little Mermaid during the wedding the priest has an erection.  This may seem to be another “accident” however, it just doesn’t seem that this would slip more than once without purposely doing so.

 
The parents should be more wary of the messages being portrayed in movies by Disney.  They may have a market of selling movies to kids, but this has to be looked at in a different manor of being inappropriate.  Since these are so subtle the children may not notice, but that does not make it right to have these hidden or unintentional messages included in films that are marketed for young crowds.

 
I do not find it to be an excuse to put stuff in for the parents to laugh at.  Parents should be prepared to watch children movies without having things included to make them laugh.  They have children so they know that watching children movies is part of being a parent.  Disney should not include these things in the movies for the sake of a laugh for adults.
