The question is not if pornography causes rape and abuse to happen, it’s whether people take these images too far. I feel that pornography is something that should explore a fantasy or something that you wouldn’t normally do. This however can cause a gray area because what is the line between fantasy and reality?!
Pornography should not be an excuse or a reason for why people rape or abuse someone. People do it for the thrill and excitement that they feel during this time. I do not think that blame can be placed onto the producers or actors in these films because someone took it too far in reality.
Movies are based on fictional things and are not necessarily appropriate, but again this cannot be used for an excuse. Movies and television shows are depicting fictional things all the time and this can’t be a scapegoat to people who decide they should do them in real life.
People make their own decisions and if brought up with the value of right and wrong then they will make the correct decision. If someone were brought up with no value of this then I would say the parents would be at fault. They should take some (not all) of the responsibility for the actions that are obviously inappropriate.
